학과소개
대학원 보건학과는 보건 관련 학문 분야가 협동과정(cooperative program) 형태로 운영되며, 학생들이 폭넓은 보건학적·사회학적 관점을 갖춘 전문 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 돕고 있습니다. 융합 교육 과정을 통해 보건 문제를 다각도로 이해하고 해결할 수 있는 역량을 강화하는 데 중점을 두고 있습니다.
그동안 간호, 치위생, 보건행정, 심리, 산업보건 분야의 다양한 전문가를 배출하였으며, 현재도 이러한 배경을 가진 재학생들이 활발히 학업과 연구를 이어가고 있습니다.
학생들의 학습 경험과 요구를 중심으로 한 학생 중심 교육 운영을 지향하고 있으며, 교수진과 학생 간의 적극적인 소통을 통해 교육과정의 질을 지속적으로 높여 나가고 있습니다. 이를 통해 지역사회와 보건의료 현장에서 요구되는 문제 해결 능력을 갖춘 실력 있는 보건학 연구자, 실무자, 전문가 양성을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
Introduction
The Graduate Program in Public Health is an interdisciplinary initiative that integrates diverse fields within the health sciences, enabling students to develop into professionals with broad perspectives in public health and social science. Through an integrated curriculum, the program aims to strengthen students’ ability to analyze and address public health challenges from multiple disciplines.
Graduates of the program include professionals from various backgrounds—such as nursing, dental hygiene, health administration, psychology, and occupational health—who continue to engage actively in academic and research activities.
The program places strong emphasis on student-centered education, prioritizing students’ learning experiences and needs. By fostering open communication between faculty and students, it continuously enhances the quality of its curriculum. Through these efforts, the program seeks to nurture capable public health researchers and practitioners equipped with the analytical and problem-solving skills needed to meet the complex demands of communities and healthcare systems.
