On March 28th, 2025, fourth-semester students and freshmen had the privilege of attending a special lecture delivered by President Choi Oe-chool of Yeungnam University. This lecture was a valuable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding and commitment to the Saemaul spirit before returning to their respective home countries.

Entitled “Towards a Safer and Happier World, Sharing Korea’s Saemaul Undong,” the lecture highlighted how Korea overcame poverty in the 1970s with global assistance through the Saemaul Undong. President Choi urged students to gain a solid Saemaul education at PSPS and become leaders who will drive their countries' development upon returning home. The students also reinforced the Saemaul spirit by singing Saemaul songs together.

Following the lecture, students had the honor of taking individual commemorative photos with President Choi. These photos will undoubtedly be cherished memories of their time at Yeungnam University and their engagement with the President.
